HEALTH FAIR – 2008

“THE HEART OF THE MATTER”

A GREAT SUCCESS!!!

Community Medical Center sponsored the community health fair on Saturday, October 18th, at Prichard Auditorium. Approximately 250 attended the event, which included 35 booths offering a variety of screenings, demonstrations and health information.

The screenings were very well attended. Cholesterol tested 154, blood glucose 97, A1-C screening 25, bone density 73 and over 70 were checked for blood pressure, vision and hearing . Demonstrations of healthy cooking and yoga exercise, vital medical education and assistance booths and the sidewalk cafe all provided a wonderful resource to those attending.

THANKS to everyone who organized a booth, worked a booth, assisted with the setup/cleanup and your overall help for such a worthwhile event!. Community Medical Center is truly blessed with dedicated employees and a very supportive community.
